I was tasked with designing a new poster based on the X-Men franchise, which was set to launch alongside the new X-Men 97' series on Disney Plus.

The challenge was to make something that would grab the attention of both newcomers to the X-Men universe and longtime comic book fans who know it inside out. 

As I dug through Marvel's asset library, I stumbled upon some amazing classic illustrations by Jim

Lee. They had this nostalgic feel, like they could've been lifted straight from old-school trading cards. This discovery brought back fond memories of playing the Capcom/X-Men arcade games in my youth and being captivated by their striking artwork.

I immediately knew these illustrations would be perfect for creating a poster that pays homage to the history of the X-Men while also celebrating its modern revival.
