As a designer and lifelong fan of the Legend of Zelda franchise, creating this retro-inspired mug was a passion project that perfectly blended my love for design and gaming nostalgia.

The design pays homage to the iconic phrase, “It’s dangerous to go alone, take this,” but with a playful twist — “Drink this.” This project allowed me to capture the essence of a game that has been a significant part of my life and translate that into a tangible, everyday object. The goal was to evoke a sense of nostalgia while also providing a functional, yet stylish, piece of memorabilia that Zelda fans of all ages can enjoy.

This project was particularly fulfilling because it allowed me to dive deep into the visual language of the Zelda series, using its timeless symbols and colour schemes to create a piece that is both nostalgic and contemporary.
